Long Island Marketing Agency
The Long Island marketing agency that owns its media.
Headquartered in Melville since 2001. Marketing, media, and technology under one roof, built for businesses across Nassau and Suffolk County.
By the Numbers
A track record you can build on.
The Market
Long Island is not a smaller New York. It is its own market.
Choosing a marketing agency on Long Island means choosing between a lot of firms that look alike from the outside. Wave has been here since 2001, headquartered in Melville, with a team that lives and works in the same market as the businesses we serve. That is not a line on an about page. It changes the work.
Nassau and Suffolk behave differently. A village downtown like Huntington or Rockville Centre runs on foot traffic, reputation and word of mouth. A corridor like Route 110 runs on B2B credibility and search. The East End runs on a season that has to pay for the year. A home services company in Babylon and a wealth manager in Manhasset are not running the same playbook, and they should not be sold the same retainer.
Then there is the part almost nobody accounts for: nearly three million people packed into two counties where reputation travels fast in both directions. The businesses that win here are the ones that show up first when a neighbor searches, look credible the second someone checks them out, and answer faster than the competitor one town over.
We build all three, in-house, and we can show you the reporting that says whether it worked.

Local Intent
The searches that decide who gets the call.
Local buying decisions on Long Island start in the same handful of places. These are the moments worth owning, and the ones we build every local program around.
- marketing agency near me — and the map pack decides who gets called
- best <industry> in <your town> — where reviews close the deal
- emergency <service> Long Island — high intent, decided in minutes
- <service> Nassau County — county-level intent worth owning
What Wins Them
- A complete, active Google Business Profile
- Reviews that arrive steadily, not in bursts
- Pages that actually name the town and the service
- A site fast enough to keep a phone visitor
- Someone answering after five o'clock
What We Do Here
Marketing built for Long Island.
One in-house team covering the whole stack, so the strategy, the site, the campaigns and the software all point the same direction.
Local SEO & AI Search
Own the map pack and the organic results for the searches that happen within a few miles of your door, and show up inside AI answers as those replace the old first page.

Explore →The Unfair Advantage
Most agencies rent reach on Long Island. We own ours.
Any agency can buy you ads here. When the budget stops, so does the reach. We publish two Long Island titles ourselves, end to end, which means our clients can earn coverage a competitor cannot outbid.

Long Island Wave
Our regional lifestyle and news title, covering the businesses, restaurants, openings, and people shaping Long Island, from Montauk to Manhasset.
- 20,000+ monthly viewers
- Apple News
- Email newsletter

Creations Magazine
A holistic living title in its fourth decade, reaching wellness-minded readers in print through nearly 900 locations and online between issues.
- 80,000+ monthly readers
- 60,000+ print circulation
- 40 years
On stands nowAugust / September 2026, the 40th anniversary volume.Built In-House
An intelligent ad network runs both titles.
We did not bolt an ad exchange onto our publications. We built the ad server. Advertisers, creative, placements, and reporting all live in our own system on Cloudflare's edge, which means no Google ad tag, no auction taking a cut, and no third party sitting between a brand and the readers we spent years earning.
Every slot filled on the fly
Placements are not hardcoded. As a page is served, the network reads the slot, pulls the advertisers eligible for it, and rotates between them, so a position is shared fairly instead of belonging to whoever booked first.
The right shape, every time
Each placement declares the format it accepts, and the network matches creative to it. A wide banner is never squeezed into a square, and an Enhanced buy runs its banner and its box as two pieces of real inventory.
Numbers that actually happened
Impressions and clicks are recorded by our own server as they occur, not by a tracking pixel an ad blocker can drop. Reporting reflects what ran, broken out by placement.
First-party by design
There is no third-party ad tag anywhere on the site. Pages stay fast, the sites ship a strict content security policy, and reader data never leaves the publication.
Two packages. Standard places your creative in the square units across the site. Enhanced adds a wide banner and runs both, so your brand competes for every slot on the page. Each title keeps its own advertisers, its own creative, and its own numbers. Nothing is pooled, and nothing is resold through a network we do not control.

Outcomes a Long Island owner can point to.
We report against the numbers that matter, in plain language.
The work is measured in business terms: more booked business, lower cost per lead, customers who come back, and faster time to market. Not impressions, not vanity metrics.
- More booked business, measured in consults, calls, and closed sales
- Lower cost per lead from paid media and SEO tuned to real numbers
- Customers who return, earned through brand and experience
- Faster time to market from one in-house team, no vendor handoffs
How We Work
A clear path from goal to growth.
Four steps, start to finish, with no guesswork in between.
Listen
We start with the business, the goal and the obstacle in the way, not with a package.
Strategize
A prioritized plan tied to outcomes you can measure, scoped and priced with no surprise line items.
Build
Our in-house team produces the brand, content, campaigns, media and software.
Measure
We report against the KPIs we set, then refine. The work compounds instead of resetting.
Proof, Not Promises
We lead with the why and the business outcome. Creative and technology are how we get there, never the reason we start.
Strategy First
Every engagement starts with the objective, the audience, and the obstacle. Tactics come after the plan, not before it.
Real Data
We set clear KPIs at the start and report against them. You always know what your investment is returning, and what it is not.
One Accountable Team
Senior people do the work and stay on it. No junior intake, no auto-response loop, no passing you down a chain.
Outcomes vary by industry, budget, and starting point. We share relevant client work and realistic benchmark ranges during scoping, and we do not promise results we cannot stand behind.

FAQ
Working with a Long Island marketing agency.
What does a full-service Long Island marketing agency do?
A full-service agency plans and runs the whole growth engine: strategy, brand, website, SEO, content, social, advertising, and public relations. At Wave we add two things most Long Island agencies cannot: owned local media reach through Long Island Wave and Creations Magazine, and an in-house technology team that builds websites, software, and AI automation.
How much does a marketing agency on Long Island cost?
It depends on scope. Engagements at Wave range from project-based work to monthly retainers and fractional CMO leadership. After one conversation about your goals, we give you a clear scope and price with no surprise line items. We have also written a full breakdown of what a Long Island marketing budget should look like.
Why choose a local agency instead of a national one?
Because Long Island is its own market. We know the difference between Nassau and Suffolk, the seasons that drive local demand, the difference between a village downtown and a highway corridor, and the channels that actually reach people here. Our team lives and works in the same market as the businesses we serve, and you can sit across the table from us in Melville.
What industries does Wave Agency work with on Long Island?
We have deep experience in beauty and wellness, healthcare and dental, real estate, home services, restaurants and hospitality, insurance, legal, accounting, and professional services, from local businesses through mid-market and public companies. We publish an industry playbook for most of them.
Do you outsource any of the work?
No. Strategy, creative, web, and technology are all done in-house by our own team. There are no offshore handoffs and no junior intake. The people you meet are the people who do the work.
How long does it take to see results on Long Island?
Paid media and conversion fixes can move within weeks. Local SEO and reputation compound over months, and that is exactly why they are worth doing: once you hold the map pack for your town and service, that position is hard for a competitor to take back.
Do you work with businesses in both Nassau and Suffolk?
Yes, across both counties and out to the East End, plus a second office in Boca Raton, Florida. Our headquarters is on the Route 110 corridor in Melville, which puts most of Long Island inside an easy drive.
Can you help us show up in AI search and not just Google?
Yes, and it is now part of every engagement. The same foundations that win the map pack, clear entity data, structured content, real reviews and genuine local authority, are what get a business cited in AI answers. We build for both at once.
How do we get started?
Book a short call. We learn about the business, the goal, and the obstacles, then tell you honestly what we would do, whether or not you hire us.
